A painful little slice into my left index finger while working on a new zine gave me six hours in the A&E waiting room, some stitches and a new Tetanus shot (I was overdue anyway). I managed to cut right through a vein. Before the blood started pouring and while my natural painkillers were still in effect I managed to get a look at an interesting cross-section of my finger. It looked like a fine black pudding, only grey.
