
A non-event scene of bushes and grasses is all these tiny dioramas exhibit; their size and isolation from environmental context are what make them interesting to me. I imagine in a lager diorama they would occur in a high altitude tussock land scene, but that’s just me.
Measuring only 6mm wide they’re made of fragments of lichen and dyed crumbled latex foam (a common model railroad product used to simulate grasses/tussock) with a card base. I’ve made a little handful of these dioramas.
